Its important for us to come together despite our feelings for the next person. Labor Day I saw different races, ages, and gender come together for working families, which was this year’s theme. I was so proud to walk along side of other brothers and sisters from various locals (228, 2280, 400, 600, 989, 140, 7, and 181) just to name a few. Labor Day has different meaning for many people, for me, its to give recognition to past/ and present workers for their sacrifice, contributions and achievements in the work place. I enjoyed my Labor Day, In SOLIDARITY!
